As we continue to grow, our vital role in the development and planning of Baltimore, MD and the built environment grows as well. We are currently part of the efforts for planning Baltimore’s new Redline along with the planning of the Corridor City Transitway (CCT) Transit Oriented Developments along the I-270 corridor. We have successfully completed several alternate studies for the Metropolitan Grove Transit Oriented Development and started developing additional studies on the CCT line for King Farm Transit Oriented Development. Baltimore County has announced the progress of the “Federal Woodlawn Center”, which has ignited our participation in the growth of Baltimore, Maryland as we partake in the development of the Security Mall area Transit Oriented Development and the Highlandtown/ Greektown Transit Oriented Development.

Mimar Architects, Inc. (MAI) is a 17 year-old architectural/engineering firm with a design staff of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, master-planning, architectural/interior design personnel and facilities assessment experts. Our projects include public, private and corporate clientele and range from residential projects to complex institutional commissions to innovative retail designs for large-scale commercial projects. MAI is incorporated in the State of Maryland and registered with the State Board of Architects. MAI is also incorporated in various other states as a foreign corporation as well as with various other State Boards of Architects. We are a certified MBE/SDBE firm with several State and local municipalities/agencies including MDOT, VDOT and PENNDOT, MWAA and Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority as well as having our SWaM certification in Virginia.
